In our previous article, we discussed the Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro, where the former is a premium mid-range phone, and the latter is a flagship phone. Alongside these phones, Honor also launched a budget 5G phone, the Honor 80 SE. This phone starts at ¥2399, which translates to around $340. For this price, the phone offers a 10-bit OLED display, 66W fast charging, and Dimensity 900 5G chipset.
The Honor 80 SE comes in four colors, and while three have a plain back, one color option has a diamond pattern on the back. The device is also quite slim at 7.7mm and weighs around 175g.
The phone has a 6.67-inch OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a Full-HD+ resolution. The bezels are pretty slim, evident by the 93% screen-to-body ratio. There is MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset under the hood, with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is a 4,600mAh battery and 66W fast charging support.
The triple-camera setup includes a primary 64MP sensor, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 32MP sensor. Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box with Magic OS 7.0.
