The Honor 200 series was officially launched in May in the Chinese market and featured two premium mid-range smartphones named Honor 200 & Honor 200 Pro. The Honor 200 featured the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Honor 200 Pro had the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The phones featured a unique camera module design, and the camera hardware was quite impressive.
Today, the brand launched the Honor 300 series in the Chinese market that features three smartphones – Honor 300, Honor 300 Pro, and Honor 300 Ultra.
HONOR 300
Starting with the vanilla model, the phone has a unique-looking camera module on the back with a dual camera setup. It also means a downgrade from the Honor 200, which featured a triple camera setup. The phone is IP65-rated and has a flat frame with a flat display. It is worth mentioning that the Honor 200 had a quad-curved display. The Honor 300 has a stereo speaker setup and an infrared blaster. The phone is quite slim at 6.97mm and weighs 175g.
Under the hood, the phone has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, meaning the SOC remains unchanged from its predecessor. The battery is 100mAh larger at 5,300mAh, but the 100W wired charging remains the same.
The display is a 6.7-inch flat 1.5K OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4000 nits peak brightness, a 10-bit color depth, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. There is an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.
Speaking of the camera setup, the phone has two rear cameras. The primary camera uses a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS, the same as its predecessor. The second camera is for ultrawide photos and uses a 12MP sensor. The ultrawide camera can shoot macro photos. It is quite surprising that the company ditched the telephoto camera that was there on the Honor 200. The selfie shooter has a 50MP sensor, the same as the Honor 200.
Finally, the Honor 300 runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.
Here is the pricing for China –
- 8GB + 256GB – ¥2299 (~$315)
- 12GB + 256GB – ¥2499 (~$340)
- 12GB + 512GB – ¥2799 (~$385)
- 16GB + 512GB – ¥2999 (~$410)
HONOR 300 PRO
The Honor 300 Pro has a similar camera module design but larger to accommodate the third camera. The frame is rounded, and the display on the front is curved on all four sides. There is a pill-shaped cutout on the front with two sensors. The phone is IP65-rated, has an IR blaster, NFC, and stereo speakers. The phone is 8.2mm thick, and the weight is 199g.
Under the hood, the Honor 300 Pro has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but surprisingly, the CPU clock speed is capped at 3.0GHz, compared to the normal CPU clock speed of 3.3GHz. For comparison, the Honor 200 Pro featured the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. There is a 5,300mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging support. For comparison, the Honor 200 Pro features 66W wireless charging.
In terms of cameras, there are three on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS support. The ultrawide/macro camera has a 12MP sensor. The third camera has a telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom and a 50MP Sony IMX856 sensor with OIS. The selfie shooter has a 50MP sensor. Basically, it is the same camera setup as the Honor 300, except for the third telephoto camera.
For comparison, the Honor 200 Pro featured a 1/1.3″ 50MP sensor for the primary camera, so the sensor is smaller in the successor.
The display is a 6.78-inch 1.5K quad-curved OLED with a peak brightness of 4000 nits, a 10-bit color depth, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming.
Finally, the Honor 300 Pro runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.

Moreover, the text on the camera module is printed in red on the Ultra. Speaking of the similarities first, the Honor 300 Ultra has the same 3.0GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SOC, the same 6.78″ 1.5K 10-bit 120Hz quad-curved OLED panel, a 5,300mAh battery, 100W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, an IP65 rating, and stereo speakers.
