Google Pixel 9a pricing leaked ahead of the launch

The same starting price as Google Pixel 8a!

The Google Pixel 8a was launched in May last year with a Tensor G3 chipset and a less boxy design than the Pixel 7a. The phone was launched at $499 in the US, the same starting price as the Google Pixel 7a. The brand is now all set to launch the Google Pixel 9a, and as per reports, the launch is scheduled in March. While we still have a month left for the official unveiling, the pricing of the Pixel 9a has leaked online for the US and Europe.

The prices were shared by DealLabs, and this year too, the Google Pixel 9a is going to have the same starting price as the Pixel 8a. The Pixel 9a is launching in the US at $499 and in Europe at €549 / £499. But there is a twist! While the base model has the same price, the 256GB variant sees a price bump. The Google Pixel 8a with 256GB storage was launched at $559 / £559, whereas the Google Pixel 9a with the same storage is reportedly going to cost $599 / €649 / £599.

The phone is launching in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris, and Peony colors. The 128GB variant is launching in all four colors, whereas the 256GB variant will be available in only Obsidian and Iris, at least in the European market.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Pixel 9a has a Tensor G4 chipset and is reportedly launching with a 5,100mAh battery. There are two rear cameras – a 1/1.95″ 48MP Samsung GN8 sensor with OIS and an ultrawide camera with a 13MP Sony IMX712 sensor. The selfie camera has the same 13MP Sony IMX712 sensor. The display is a 6.285″ 120Hz Full-HD+ OLED with 2700 nits peak brightness.
