Google Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro renders surface online

The design is going to remain almost the same as the Pixel 6 series

Recently, we got to know some details of the Pixel 7 series that included the codenames of the two phones and also some info on the next-gen Tensor chip. Today, we got to see the designs of Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, thanks to OnLeaks. He shared the renders of the Pixel 7 & 7 Pro with CarHp and SmartPrix, respectively. These renders reveal that design-wise, we will not see any significant change this year.

As we can see, the only design change this time is the way the camera bar is designed. This time, the camera bar is designed in a way that it appears to be a part of the frame, a design approach that has already been followed by companies such as OnePlus and Samsung. Apart from that, we don’t see anything new in the design. There is a dual-camera setup on the Pixel 7 and a triple camera setup on the Pixel 7 Pro (with one camera having a periscope lens). There is a flat panel on the Pixel 7, but the Pixel 7 Pro gets a curved display. Both phones have a single selfie camera placed in a hole punch cutout in the middle.

Interestingly, both phones are reported to have the same thickness (excluding the camera module) of 8.7mm. When the camera module is included, Pixel 7 is 11.44mm thick, whereas the Pixel 7 Pro is 11.2mm thick. The screen size of the Pixel 7 is between 6.2 to 6.4-inch, whereas that of the Pixel 7 Pro is between 6.7 to 6.8-inch.
