Here’s how the Google Pixel 6a is going to look like

To no surprise, this phone will look similar to the Pixel 6

A month ago, Google launched its Pixel 6 series that featured a complete overhaul in every possible department, whether it was the design, the display, cameras, or the performance. As we know, each year, we also get a budget Pixel device. This year, it was the Google Pixel 5a, and similarly, next year, we are getting the Google Pixel 6a. Now, the launch usually takes place in the third quarter of the year, so while there are still a lot of months left for the launch, we already have the renders of this phone, thanks to OnLeaks, who shared the renders of Pixel 6a with 91Mobiles.

So, as we can see, the Pixel 6a doesn’t look any different compared to the Pixel 6. In fact, that’s something we have seen with every budget Pixel phone launched so far. So, the Google Pixel 3a was similar to the Pixel 3, Pixel 4a was similar to the Pixel 4, and this year’s Pixel 5a was similar to the Pixel 5 in terms of looks. One thing to note here is that these renders suggest an in-display fingerprint scanner on this phone which means it is going to be the first budget Pixel phone to have this tech.

Sadly, Google is ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack on its budget pixels, too, as the Google Pixel 6a is not coming with one. There is a USB Type-C port on the bottom alongside the speaker grill.

The back panel seems to have a glass build, so again, this will be the first for a budget pixel phone.

Finally, the phone gets a dual-camera setup on the rear.

And well, that’s pretty much it. There is no information on the specifications yet, so nothing can be said about the internals. Stay tuned.
