Google Pixel 4 & Pixel 4 XL will launch in October, so we still have more than three months for the official announcement. We have already seen a few leaks that hint towards a hole-punch screen on the front & more than one rear camera.
But now, the latest CAD renders by OnLeaks suggest Google might be planning to go for a design similar to this year’s upcoming iPhones.
Now, these CAD renders are based on the early prototype schematics, which means the design of the final product might not be the same. Still, as we can notice, there is a square camera module on the top left on the rear which looks similar to the one on upcoming iPhone XI.
Now, it cannot be said if there are triple cameras, but there are definitely at least two in there.
We can see the earpiece on the front, which might be indicating no hole-punch or a completely notch-less design. We can certainly expect the phone to have the same notch as last year. Google Pixel 4 has no speaker grill on the bottom chin, so it looks like the company is ditching the dual front speakers.
There is a USB Type-C port on the bottom, along with the two speaker grills.
Again, these CAD renders are based on the early prototype schematics so the company might change the design later. There are also sources claiming that Google’s three design teams are working independently for the design of this year’s Pixels. So, one of the design will be chosen from those.
Let’s hope we don’t get that ugly notch design of last year.
