The Galaxy S8 and S8+ were launched globally with 4GB RAM but if you aren’t aware, the S8+ will be available in 6GB RAM variant also but only in South Korea (Maybe it’ll come to other countries too). The phone goes with the model number SM-G955N. Now, the official Samsung website has listed the handset with 6GB of RAM but all other specifications are same as that of the 4GB Galaxy S8+. Talking about the internal storage, the 6GB variant has 128GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 256GB via external SD card. From the 128GB, 111.3GB is available.
As far as the processor is concerned, the names haven’t been mentioned but looking at the 2.3 and 1.7GHz clock speeds that are mentioned on the website, we can clearly say that the 6GB S8+ will be available with both Snapdragon 835 as well as the Exynos 8895. As per the pricing, the phone has been listed on ‘Tworld‘ for 947 Euro or 1009 USD.
Well, we are not sure if Samsung is gonna launch the 6GB variant in other countries but at the moment, the device will be available for S.Korea only. We will keep you updated if we get any information about its global availability. Stay Tuned.
