Exynos 1080 to launch on the 12th of November in China

A couple of weeks ago, the Exynos 1080 was benchmarked on AnTuTu which revealed that it beats the likes of Snapdragon 865+. Now, it is rumoured that this is not going to be the most powerful Exynos chipset for 2021 by Samsung as that would be the Exynos 2100. So it makes 1080 an even more impressive chipset from Samsung. Anyways, Samsung has now announced the launch date of the Exynos 1080. The launch will take place on the 12th of November in Shanghai, China. So there is still more than a week left for the launch.

As we know from the AnTuTu benchmark of the chip, it has an octa-core CPU that includes four Cortex-A78 cored clocked at up to 3GHz & four Cortex-A55 cores. The GPU inside is the Mali-G78. There is no word from Samsung on the first smartphone powered by this chipset, but as per many sources, the Vivo X60 series is going to be the first to launch with this SOC. It is not the first time Vivo is going for an Exynos chipset for its phones. In fact, the Vivo X30 series of last year had the Exynos 980 5G chipset.
