Motorola is a company that is in the smartphone business from the day the first phone was launched. In fact, the first mobile phone was launched by Motorola in April 1973, and 45 years later, Motorola is still one of the most trusted smartphone brand (Maybe not that much-trusted brand after Lenovo acquired it). The company has already launched a lot of new devices this year, and if you have bought any new or old Motorola phones, then one problem that you might have come across is the problem of connecting your phone to the PC or Laptop.
Most of the time, the PC or Laptop won’t recognize the connected device, and then, the search of latest drivers begins. Then you come across a lot of websites that claim to have the updated or latest drivers, but in reality, they aren’t. So, what should you do in that case? The answer is the Motorola Device Manager. This is a must-have utility if you have a Motorola device. It will help to connect your phone or tablet to the computer since it provides all the latest USB drivers and software required for that.
In fact, the software is so useful that for some Motorola devices, this software can help to update the software of the phone. Isn’t it a great tool? Well, if you want to Download Motorola Device Manager for your Windows or Mac computer, then we are providing the latest files that you can download and install. Before moving on, let’s first look at some of the features of the Device Manager software from Motorola.

MOTOROLA DEVICE MANAGER FEATURES
NO NEED TO INSTALL DRIVERS SEPARATELY
Installing drivers is one heck of a task, isn’t it? You need to find the latest drivers available for your smartphone and then install those manually. Even then, it is a tedious task to find the best available drivers. The Motorola Device Manager comes with the Automatic installation feature for the drivers. The moment you install the software, you’re good to go since the latest drivers are automatically installed.
UPDATE THE FIRMWARE
This might seem a good feature but it is kind of not so useful. The thing is that most of the latest Motorola devices aren’t supported by the Device Manager as you can get the latest firmware from other sources like XDA. But if you have an old Motorola device whose firmware you want to update, then the Motorola Device Manager is a useful tool.
UNINSTALLING IS EASY
Installing the Device Manager software was easy, right? Well, the uninstallation process is even easier. Any time you want to remove this tool, the installation is pretty easy and takes only seconds.

When your phone has a new software update, but you don’t get it using the normal method of going into Settings > About Phone, then you should try to update the software via the MDM.
- USB/USB-C Cable
- Motorola Device Manager (MDM) installed to your Mac or PC
- 2 GB of available disk memory
- Broadband Internet connection
- First, connect your phone or tablet to the PC or Computer using the USB Cable. If it is your first time connecting the phone to PC, then it will show that the device drivers are being installed.
- Next, you need to open the MDM or Motorola Device Manager by clicking on its icon, and it will search for any available updates. If there are any, your phone will be updated.
