iQOO Z1 with Dimensity 1000+ gets benchmarked on Geekbench

iQOO Z1 is launching on May 19th in China & it is the world’s first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G SOC. Moreover, it is the first smartphone that’s coming with dual 5G support. Today, the phone was benchmarked on Geekbench so in this article, let’s compare the benchmark scores of this chipset with the likes of Snapdragon 865 & Kirin 990 5G.

The MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ scores 784 on single-core & 3,043 on multi-core. The Kirin 990 5G scores 774 on single-core & 3,159 on multi-core. Finally, the Snapdragon 865 SOC scores 891 on single-core & 3,116 on multi-core.

Well, from these scores, one conclusion that we can derive is that Snapdragon 865 is still the king in terms of single-core performance when we talk about these three chipsets. In terms of the multi-core score, however, there isn’t a huge difference between the three.

As we already know, the iQOO Z1 shares the same design as the iQOO Neo3. In fact, most of the specs are the same as well, for example, a 144Hz LCD panel, 44W fast charging, 4,500mAh battery, & most probably the same triple camera setup on the rear.

The iQOO Neo3 launched as the cheapest Snapdragon 865-powered phone in China at a price of 2,698 Yuan, so we are sure the iQOO Z1 is going to be even cheaper.
