ColorOS is Oppo’s custom Android skin, which is soon getting a big overhaul. The ColorOS 7 launch is set to happen on November 20 in China & today, we got to know that Oppo has started sending invites for the launch event in India that’s happening on November 26th.
The launch is happening in New Delhi & just like the ColorOS 6, we are expecting some big design changes this time with this new version. It won’t be a surprise that this would be based on Android 10, so all the features of Android 10 are going to be there that include a System-Wide Dark Mode, Privacy Controls, Focus Mode, etc.
Above are some screenshots from ColorOS 7 & if you compare these with the ColorOS 6’s design, then there are some major design changes. Floating apps feature is also there in this new version, so few apps like Calculator can be opened as Floating apps. The Recent Apps section is also slightly redesigned & the same is the case with the Settings.
The ColorOS 7 with eventually come to Realme devices as well, but as Realme has said, this would be tweaked a little & could be closer to stock Android.
