Recently, the official trailer of the Asus Zenfone 9 leaked online, which revealed the design of this compact flagship and also some key specifications. Today, Asus officially announced the launch date. So, the Zenfone 9 is launching on the 28th of July, and the launch event is happening in New York, Berlin and Taipei. The company did not mention the “Zenfone 9 series,” which makes us believe that this year, there is only one phone.
Asus also shared the front look of the phone, which shows the compact form factor. The company did not share other details, but we already know much about the Zenfone 9.
The phone has a 5.9-inch display, and it is a 120Hz AMOLED panel. There is Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC under the hood, and the phone has a 4,300mAH battery. There is a primary 50MP camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor and 6-axis gimbal stabilization.
We have no information on the pricing yet, but just to remind you, the Asus Zenfone 8 launched at €599 in Europe, $599 in the US, and ₹42,999 in India. So, expect the Asus Zenfone 9 to start at around or under $700 / €700.
