The Asus ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro were launched in January this year with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a toned-down design language so that they don’t look like just a gaming-centric phone. The brand is all set to launch the ROG Phone 9 series, as the official press release has revealed the launch date. The Asus ROG Phone 9 series is launching in the global market on November 19.
Alongside the official launch date, the brand also shared the official renders of the Asus ROG Phone 9. As we can see in the images above, the ROG Phone 9 has an identical camera module on the rear as the ROG Phone 8. Apart from the “GLHF” text and the “Red” strip, there is no difference in the camera module design.
The back has a two-tone design, and there is the ROG logo in the middle, which hopefully lights up. The back also has the “Republic of Gamers” branding at the bottom alongside what looks like a dot matrix display.
The specifications are not yet known, except for the chipset, which is the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
