Asus ROG Phone 6 official renders surface online

There is a Dot Matrix display on the rear

The ROG Phone 6 series is launching on the 5th of July, so we have just a few days left for the official launch. Recently, one of the phones under this series was spotted on TENAA, expected to be the ROG Phone 6. Evan Blass has shared the official renders of the Asus ROG Phone 6 on Twitter that show the device from all angles and in two colors. These renders also suggest that the device which we saw on TENAA is different than this one.

As we can see, the Asus ROG Phone 6 comes in two color options, just like the previous ROG Phones. The back panel has various texts printed on it, such as “06”, “For those who dare,” “Dare to play,” “Est 2006”, “Tencent Games,” etc. Comparing the rear design to what we saw in the TENAA listing, it is different. Moreover, the secondary display on the back is a Dot Matrix panel, similar to the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop. So, users should be able to customize what is shown on this panel which, by default, shows the ROG logo.

As the camera module says, you can shoot 8K videos with the primary camera. In case you missed it, the primary camera has a 64MP sensor.

The USB Type-C port and the 3.5mm headphone jack is present on the bottom & there is another USB Type-C port on the left side to attach accessories. There are shoulder triggers on the right side. On the front, the phone has even top and bottom bezels, with the selfie camera placed on the top bezel. There are stereo front-firing speakers too.

Asus ROG Phone 6 has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC, a 6,000mAH battery, 65W fast charging, and a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED panel.
