Tomorrow, Redmi Note 8 Series is launching & we already know how the Note 8 & Note 8 Pro looks like, what are the main highlights & more. Now, the alleged pricing & the full spec sheet of the Note 8 Pro has leaked via Weibo & while it is not 100% confirmed, we thought of sharing it with you. As per this new leak, the Note 8 & Note 8 Pro price will start at 1,199 Yuan & 1,799 Yuan respectively.
REDMI NOTE 8 PRO SPECIFICATIONS
Talking about the specifications first, the Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ display & there is no mention of an AMOLED screen. So, it is most likely an LCD panel since there is no in-display fingerprint scanner as well. As we know, MediaTek Helio G90T SOC powers the Note 8 Pro & there is 6/8GB RAM along with 64/128GB storage.
Coming to the cameras, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has Quad Cameras on the back. There is a primary 64MP camera with Samsung GW1 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle secondary camera, a 2MP macro lens (2cm) & a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 20MP front-facing camera. Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 runs out of the box.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro has the biggest battery on any Redmi Note series phone as it packs a 4,500mAh unit with 18W Fast Charging.
REDMI NOTE 8 & NOTE 8 PRO PRICE
Coming to the pricing now, the alleged price of Redmi Note 8 starts at 1,199 Yuan for the 4GB + 64GB variant which translates to around $168. It is worth mentioning that Redmi Note 7 launched in China at a starting price of 999 Yuan, but that was the price for 3GB + 32GB variant. Moreover, this price leak suggests that the Redmi Note 8 price is going to remain the same as Note 8 for the 4GB variant.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro price will start at 1,799 Yuan for the 6GB + 128GB variant which translates to around $250. The 8GB + 128GB variant will be priced at 2,099 Yuan or $293.
Again, this pricing is not confirmed yet so consider it with a pinch of salt. Still, what if Redmi indeed launches the Note 8 and Note 8 Pro with these prices? Do you think it is good pricing? Do let us know via the comments section.
