[UPDATE – LAUNCH DATE] Alleged Redmi Note 11 & Note 11 Pro specs leaked via Weibo

As per this leak, both the phones are coming with Dimensity chipsets by MediaTek

Redmi has officially announced on Weibo that the Note 11 series is set to go official in China on the 28th of October which means just a week is now left for the launch. Redmi also shared some images that give us our first look at the design of the Note 11 and as we can see in the images above, the phone has flat sides, stereo speakers by JBL, a triple camera setup on the back and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top. Digital Chat Station also revealed that the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In March this year, the Redmi Note 10 series debuted in the Indian market, and it included three phones, the Note 10, Note 10 Pro & the Note 10 Pro Max. The main highlight of this series was that it brought a 120Hz Super AMOLED display under Rs 20,000 price segment, something which no one would’ve even thought. Later, the Redmi Note 10 Pro was launched in China, but it was a different phone with the same name. While the Indian variant had a Snapdragon 732G SOC, the Chinese variant had Dimensity 1100.

Now, it is rumored that we might get the next generation of the Redmi Note series before the end of this year. Unless Redmi decides to make a big jump in the naming style, we will get the Redmi Note 11 series as the successor to Redmi Note 10 series. A user on Weibo has shared the alleged specifications of Redmi Note 11 & Note 11 Pro, which are quite interesting. Now, we advise you to take this leak with a pinch of salt since even the user himself said that these are just rumored specs (or maybe he did not say that, but that’s what we inferred from the Chinese to English translation).

Anyways, as per the user, the rumored specs of Redmi Note 11 include a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip, a 120Hz LCD, a 50 Megapixel camera on the rear & a 5,000mAh cell with 33W fast charging support. The Redmi Note 11 Pro is rumored to have the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SOC, a 120Hz OLED panel, an X-axis linear motor, Stereo speakers tuned by JBL, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, and a 108MP camera sensor.

He also shared the expected prices of these phones in China. He said that the Note 11 could start at 1,199 Yuan, which translates to under $200 or around Rs 14,000. The Note 11 Pro is expected to start at 1,599 Yuan, which translates to around $250 or Rs 18,500.

Well, again, we are suggesting you consider these details are rumors only and not the final specifications of these phones. Also, just as in the case of Note 10 Pro in China & India, we might see different specifications for different markets. So stay tuned for more details!
