Alleged Moto G7 shows up in the wild with a waterdrop notch

Motorola is a brand that was once known for its smartphone designs. But now, the company is just like any other smartphone manufacturer, launching phones with notched displays. It is already known that the company will launch a new series of phones that include Motorola One and Motorola One Power, and both these phones feature notch design.

Today, however, a mysterious Motorola device was revealed in hands-on images, that could be the Moto G7. It is worth mentioning that the 2019’s G series phones are expected to launch is April-May, just like this year’s G6 series. So, there are still months to go for the official launch. Still, the chances are that the phone that showed up in the live images today is a yet another phone coming soon.

The camera setup looks similar to the Moto Z3 Play

This is the very first time we are getting this Red color with any Moto device. The rear of the phone looks quite similar to the Moto Z3 Play with a similar design for the camera setup. The camera setup doesn’t look like the one on Moto G6 or the G6 Plus. The phone has a glass back, and the fingerprint scanner is also placed on the rear, under the Motorola logo.

Moto G7?

Upcoming Moto device with a Waterdrop notch

The front of the phone is perhaps more interesting. The alleged Moto G7 has a waterdrop notch, which means the notch houses just the front-facing camera. We have already seen this notch design in phones like the Oppo R17, R17 Pro, F9 Pro, etc. The screen shows that it is Moto G6 Plus, but the phone has already launched in May. So, is this the Moto G6S/Moto G6S Plus, Or this is going to be the design of next year’s Moto G7? Well, there is no information about the name so better stay tuned for more leaks.
