The iQOO 15 was launched last year in October, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a massive 7,000mAh batttery, 100W wired charging, 40W wireless charging, and more. The phone was launched in various global markets shortly after its launch in China. Well, the brand is preparing to launch another smartphone under the iQOO 15 series, and this one is going to be the company’s most powerful and most feature-packed phone of all time. The phone is named the iQOO 15 Ultra, and as the name suggests, this will be a premium flagship from the brand.
This is going to be a proper gaming phone from the company, and there are some interesting hardware choices that the brand has made with this phone.
The iQOO 15 Ultra looks pretty different from the regular iQOO 15. There is a unique honeycomb pattern on the back panel, and the camera module has an RGB light strip. On the right side, the phone has touch-sensitive shoulder triggers with a 600Hz touch-sampling rate. iQOO has used two independent control chips for these shoulder triggers in order to reduce the latency. iQOO says the shoulder triggers are sweat-resistant, as the company has used an anti-sweat algorithm to ensure users can use the shoulder triggers without issues.
One of the highlights of the iQOO 15 Ultra is its built-in cooling fan, and some reports claim it to be the biggest active cooling fan in a smartphone. If you look closely, there is a vent on the bottom of the camera module. There is another vent on the left side of the frame. One of these is for air intake, while the other is to throw the hot air out.
Speaking of specifications, Digital Chat Station has revealed that the iQOO 15 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and the brand has added its in-house Q3 chip in this phone. There is up to 24GB of RAM with 1TB of storage. The battery is 7,400mAh, and the phone supports 100W fast wired charging. There is wireless charging support too. The display is a 6.85-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO AMOLED panel by Samsung, and this is a flat display. Speaking of cameras, the iQOO 15 Ultra has three on the rear. The primary rear camera has a 50MP sensor, the ultrawide camera has a 50MP sensor, and the 3x periscope telephoto camera has a 50MP sensor with CIPA 4.5 image stabilization. There is a 091640 dual-axis motor and a stereo speaker setup.
On the AnTuTu benchmark, the iQOO 15 Ultra scores over 4.5 million on AnTuTu, which is the highest score ever.
Let’s see at what price the iQOO 15 Ultra is launched in China and whether the phone will launch globally or not.
