Infinix GT 30 is the company’s newest budget smartphone in the sub-20K price segment, and the phone brings some interesting features in this price segment. It is worth mentioning that the Infinix GT 30 Pro has been available in India since June, and it is a mid-range phone with a starting price of ₹24,999. The vanilla model comes with a starting price tag of ₹19,499.
Design-wise, the Infinix GT 30 looks like a gaming-centric device. The phone is made of plastic all around, but the back has a unique pattern. Infinix calls it the Cyber Mecha 2.0 design. There are LED lights on the back, which are customizable. The phone also has shoulder triggers, the first in this price segment. These can also be used as camera controls, video playback controls, etc. The phone is IP64-certified and features stereo speakers.
Under the hood, the phone has the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, which scores around 770,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. There is LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The battery is 5,500mAh, and the phone supports 45W fast wired charging. There is support for bypass charging and 10W reverse wired charging. For better thermals, the phone has a 5400 mm square vapor chamber cooling system.
The display is a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED with a 4500 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, up to 144Hz refresh rate, 2304Hz PWM dimming, and 2160Hz instant touch-sampling rate. There is an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The camera setup on the rear has a dual camera setup. There is a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor for the primary camera and an 8MP sensor for the secondary ultrawide camera. The selfie shooter has a 13MP sensor.
Finally, the Infinix GT 30 runs on Android 15-based XOS 15, and the company has promised two OS updates.
